    Annual tuition fees for EEA (EU plus Norway, Iceland & Liechtenstein) students start at around €2143. The first year is now discounted (€1072) for EEA students who will be studying in the Netherlands for the first time (Bachelor's degree only) Annual tuition fees for EU students (2020/2021) are approximately €2143. When it is the first time and first year that you will study in the Netherlands this amount is discounted with 50% to €1072 (bachelor courses only),

  • Do I need a residence permit? // Do I need a residence permit?
    If you are a student who is a citizen of an EU country (i.e. if you have an EU passport), you do not need a special residence permit. To legitimize your stay in the Netherlands, you just need to register with the local municipality and obtain a BSN number (city service number), equal to the Italian tax code. This procedure must be done in the first week of your stay in the Netherlands, and you will receive special instructions from your university.You then need a rental agreement, a university admission letter and a birth certificate (translated and legalized) to register at the defined address. Don't worry! You will be assisted every step of the way! - If you are a student from an EU country (meaning if you have an EU passport), you do not need a special residence permit. All you have to do to legitimate your stay in Holland is to register at the local municipality and get a BSN number (citizen service number), like in Italy we have the Codici Fiscale.This procedure will take place in the first week of your stay in Holland, and you will get special instructions from the university about this. You will need a contract with a landlord, admission letter from the University and Birth Certificate (translated and legalised) in order to register at definite address. Don't worry! You'll be assisted every step of the way!
  • What is the deadline for enrollment? // What are the registration deadlines?
    The deadline may vary depending on the program. Limited number: January 15th. Courses with an open number: you are "safe" to enroll by May 1st, but some programs require a faster enrollment (March or April). Contact goingdutch to be 100% sure. These can vary depending on the program. For numerus fixus programs it is 15 January. For the other programs you are usually 'safe' when you apply before may first. But some programs want you to register before the first of April or even March. To be 100% sure, contact goingdutch!
  • How much does it cost to sign up through goingdutch? // What are the costs if I want to subscribe via going dutch?
    It's free for golden partner universities.When the university of your choice is not connected to goingdutch, we can still help you with your enrollment but we will have to charge you a fee. That fee depends on the services requested. Nothing! It's 100% free for golden partner universities.For the other universities it depends on the requested service. We offer a full service package but also a short consult could be enough for you!   • Do I have to learn Dutch? // Do I have to learn Dutch?
    Absolutely not! Of course you are free to try, but for your study it is not necessary to know Dutch. The courses are completely in English. Also in Holland almost everyone speaks English. It means that in your daily life you will also be able to organize things without speaking a word of Dutch. But......you can learn Dutch. For that we have a going dutch special offer! Also, in the Netherlands almost everyone speaks English. Meaning that in your day to day life you will also be able to arrange things without speaking one word of Dutch.
